IBR and SP-MIS Standards Released
v1.0.0
The Digital Convergence Initiative (DCI) is proud to announce a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance social protection systems: the release of Version 1.0.0 of the Integrated Beneficiary Registry (IBR) and Social Protection Management Information Systems (SP-MIS) interoperability standards. This crucial development marks the culmination of extensive research, collaboration, and rigorous review process that has taken place over the past several months.
The creation of these interoperability standards is a vital step toward improving the efficiency and effectiveness of social protection programs. The standards aim to facilitate seamless communication and data sharing between the systems, ultimately leading to better service delivery for beneficiaries.
This initiative has been made possible through the dedicated efforts of a diverse group of experts who have contributed their knowledge and insights. The Standards Committee, which comprises representatives from 21 distinct organizations, has worked diligently to craft these standards. Their collective expertise has ensured that the guidelines are comprehensive, practical, and adaptable to the diverse contexts in which social protection programs operate.
Furthermore, we are pleased to share that the IBR and SP-MIS interoperability standards have received endorsement from the USP2030 Partnership.
