Overview
Interoperability in Action is a DCI workshop series for the development and consensus building on standards for integrated social protection systems. The series brings together social protection practitioners, IT experts, government agencies, private sector representatives, open-source solution providers, and international organizations. These virtual workshops serve as a collaborative forum to exchange use cases, interface standards (API & data), and interoperability experiences through use case scenarios and technical demonstrations in a controlled environment. Nine workshops have been held so far, which highlighted interoperability of Social Protection systems with a specific system—such as ID, CRVS, Payment, Farmer Registry, etc.
The 9th workshop in the series focused on interoperability between Early Warning Systems and SP-Systems. This session showcased the benefits of interoperability through use cases, live demonstrations of some use cases and perspectives from global organizations and countries. Participants were encouraged to engage in open discussions. We also welcomed input on the availability of various open-source and other solutions that implement early warning systems, helping to build consensus on standards.
