Advancing digital transformation and interoperability in social protection

The Digital Convergence Initiative (DCI) is pleased to announce the second edition of its global training on Digital Transformation and Interoperability in Social Protection.
The session will be held from October 26-30, 2026 at the ITCILO Campus, Turin, Italy.
By the end of the training, participants will:
- Understand the core concepts of digital transformation and interoperability and how they apply to social protection systems.
- Apply rights-based and human-centered principles in the design of digital social protection services and solutions.
- Identify the essential building blocks of interoperable digital ecosystems, including legal and regulatory frameworks, governance structures, data management, digital infrastructure, system architecture and technical standards.
- Strengthen strategic leadership and management capabilities to plan, coordinate and operationalize digital transformation across institutions and sectors.
- Critically assess the risks, opportunities, ethical considerations and impacts of digital transformation in social protection.
- Leverage global insights and peer learning to contextualize international good practices and adapt them to national priorities and implementation
realities.
Successful participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement, eligible for the Diploma for Social Protection Managers.
