Dialogue series: Session 4 – Chile
The fourth session of the dialogue series will discuss the experience of the Chilean Ministry of Social Development and Family with its integrated Social Information Registry (Registro de Información Social – RIS).
RIS contains information on a large majority of the country’s population and is available to more than 50 state administration bodies, the country’s 345 municipalities, and accredited research universities. This has meant a growing challenge to improve interoperability and data protection by implementing data governance practices to address the relevant aspects of handling the managed data in a secure, quality, and well-documented manner.
