The fourth session of the dialogue series will discuss the experience of the Chilean Ministry of Social Development and Family with its integrated Social Information Registry (Registro de Información Social – RIS).
RIS contains information on a large majority of the country’s population and is available to more than 50 state administration bodies, the country’s 345 municipalities, and accredited research universities. This has meant a growing challenge to improve interoperability and data protection by implementing data governance practices to address the relevant aspects of handling the managed data in a secure, quality, and well-documented manner.

Verónica Achá Alvarez – Department Lead on Analysis of Social Information, Ministry of Social Development and Family
Luz Stella Rodriguez – Social Protection Specialist, World Bank
